Please inspect your order upon reception & contact us at support@viewsbalconybar.com immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right! 

Return & Exchange Policy*

Contact us at support@viewsbalconybar.com with the subject 'Return' or "Exchange", including your order number, name, and the reason for the return. We will then provide the next steps to process your request. 

We accept returns and exchanges within the first 30 days of the delivery date.  

Eligibility for refunds and exchanges: 

• Your item must be unaltered in its original state, and in its original packaging (no exceptions) with all original product inserts and accessories

• A receipt or proof of purchase

• If the item in question was marked a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return

• some items discounted more than 15% through promotional sales are non-refundable (will state on the sale) 

• Items that are returned or exchanged due to buyer's remorse will be refunded minus the flat shipping rate of $9.99 (smaller items ex. hats) or $49 (larger items over ex. bars and stools). Original shipping costs cannot be refunded

In the unlikely event that your product arrives to you with a defect, please contact us at support@viewsbalconybar.com. 

To help us assess the issue, please send photographs of the product taken from various angles and distances (1" away and 1 ft away). If possible, include photos of the box the product arrived in, as it may have been damaged during transport. If the issue can't be documented with photos, short videos are also welcome.

Our manufacturer's  warranty covers defects in materials for one year from a product's date of delivery. We will organize replacement parts and in necessary cases complete replacements. 

Please note that our warranties are non-transferable, and cannot be extended to re-sold items. Warranties are only valid when products are used for their intended purpose and exhibit normal use. Defects or damage resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, abnormal use, modifications, or commercial purposes will not be covered by the Views warranty.

**We reserve the right to refuse any claims that do not meet our warranty policy requirements**.

*Note, for any purchases outside of North America, Views will cover up to $50 for shipping, and the remaining balance the customer will be responsible for.

• Pre-orders will only be processed once the product is completed and available to ship on stated dates
• International orders: Your country's shipping destination may have customs charges. Please double-check and make sure you are comfortable with this charge from your country. Views Balcony Inc. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)

Once your order has been "processed", you will receive a "fulfillment" notification with your courier and tracking number. This means that your shipping label has been printed, and your order is ready to be picked up by the courier. Please allow a few days for your tracking status to update.

International customs might be applied depending on your country's taxes policy. Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods: The percentage or rate varies depending on the type of goods. • The customs value is made up of:

To make sure Views Balcony Bar will work, we require the two measurements below.

1. Railing Width. Our unique bracket system adjusts to fit railings that are between 1.75" to 6.25" wide. 

Our brackets will need to stabilize against two vertical posts. Measure the distance between two vertical balcony posts, starting from the middle of each post. The following measurements will work: 

•  Our 4ft bar will work with a distance that is 46.5" or less. 
•  Our 5ft bar will work with a distance that is 58.5" or less.

• 5ft Bar top: 60” L x 12” W x 5.5” H 
• 4ft Bar top: 49” L x 12” W x 5.5” H

Every balcony bar is made from natural ly durable acacia wood and will have its own unique features and characteristics. 

We further protect our bars with Rubio Monocoat, a high-quality and environmentally friendly wood protection. The molecular bonding technology provides durable, long-lasting protection. Rubio Monocoat oil is 0% VOC and does not contain any water or solvents. It is based on natural ingredients. This means that the product is very safe to use but equally safe for your environment. 

Tips to extend the life of your bar:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and extreme weather conditions
• Wipe with a dry soft cloth to remove dust and debris
• Periodically wipe with a dampened cloth and a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt or mildew and allow to air dry
• During short periods of rain, fold the balcony bar down to minimize the bar top table from being overexposed to water
• For extended rainy and winter climates, protect the balcony bar with a waterproof cover or store it indoors
• Small cracks and fissures may develop with changes in humidity and temperature, which is a natural characteristic of wood furniture. 
• Long Term Care: Since our balcony bars are made with real wood, over time the applied exterior oil will start to fade due to exposure to natural elements. Re-stain the bar using Rubio Monocoat Exterior Hybrid Wood Protector to maintain a fresh look.

You can purchase a sample bottle to re-coat your balcony bar when it starts to fade. Choose the color in which you purchased your bar in for the sample.

We do not recommend putting the brackets directly on glass. For safety purposes always line up the brackets with either metal or wood vertical posts during installation.

Try these two steps if your lights are not turning on or flashing: 

Step 1. Charge via USB or Solar for 4+hours

Step 2: Cover the solar panel from any light exposure. It has to be dark for the lights to turn on. To test,  you can place the full solar panel face down on the ground and click the "ON" button to illuminate it.

During days, particularly in the winter, your balcony may not be exposed to as much sunlight as in the summer. Try plugging in your solar-powered lights using the USB function when your balcony is not exposed to a lot of sunlight.

Note, the lights flash on for a few seconds when they first turn on for the night, then they settle onto the mode you have chosen.

You've tested the solar panel face-down, but your lights are still not turning on or flashing. Try twisting the lightbulbs in either direction until the light-bulb illuminates.
